Kazuchika Okada vs Will Ospreay Headline NJPW Battle In The Valley
NJPW has revealed the main event of Battle in the Valley 2024 event.
Will Ospreay previously called out Kazuchika Okada to face him at the event. Ospreay wanted to defend IWGP Global Heavyweight title against Okada. However, there was no confirmation of the event before. On top of this, Ospreay did not came out of Wrestle Kingdom 18 as the champion with Finlay winning a triple threat match.
NJPW has now announced that a non-title match between Okada and Ospreay will headline Battle in the Valley event. The show is set January 13, 2024, in San Jose, CA. This is the first match to be revealed for the show.
Matt Riddle also made an appearance at the show to challenge Hiroshi Tanahashi for NJPW TV title. It is expected that Riddle vs Tanahashi match might also take place at Battle in the Valley.
