Kazarian vs Edwards School Match Set for IMPACT Emergence 2023
Frankie Kazarian will clash in a one-on-one match with Eddie Edwards in a Back to School match at IMPACT Emergence 2023 event.
IMPACT Wrestling hasn’t made any official statement regarding the regulations of the School match, but it’s confirmed that Kazarian and Edwards will continue their ongoing rivalry. Both men have previously trained under Killer Kowalski, which IMPACT noted in their announcement.

The rivalry between Kazarian and Edwards is a very old rivalry. The rivalry started because Kazarian criticized Edwards for displaying unfair conduct towards Yuya Uemer. Edwards had declined to shake hands with Uemera following a competitive match. Kazarian also expressed that this behavior would set a negative example for the locker room.
At IMPACT Slammiversary event, Edwards defeated Kazarian in a one-on-one match. Kazarian also defeated Edwards in a one-on-one match at the Against All Odds 2023 event.
At the IMPACT Multiverse United 2 event, Frankie Kazarian participated in a Scramble match, which was ultimately won by Chris Sabin.
Eddie Edwards also recently was part of the IMPACT Multiverse United 2 event, where he and Moose defeated TMDK (Shane Haste and Zack Sabre Jr.) in a tag team match
IMPACT Emergence event is scheduled for August 27, 2023, at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sanada is also set for the event, where he will face Jake Something in a one-on-one match.
