Fastlane 2019: Sasha and Bayley Retain Title, WrestleMania Match Hint

The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection- Sasha Banks and Bayley were able to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against the Samoan Slaughterhouse- Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka at Fastlane 2019 event on 10th March 2019. However, the post-match brawl has also hinted towards a possible WrestleMania match for Nia Jax and Tamina.

Sasha and Bayley Retain Tag Team Title

After becoming the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley had to face Nia Jax and Tamina in their first title defense. Beth Pheonix was added as the guest commentator for the match. The match story went like the power of Nia and Tamina vs the athleticism and moves of Sasha and Bayley. Despite major blows by Nia and Tamina, Sasha and Bayley were able to come back in the match for time and again and finally Bayley countered a powerbomb from Nia in a pin attempt to get the victory.

However, after the match, Tamina and Nia again started attacking their opponents when Beth Pheonix stood up to them for their henious act. But Nia also attacked Beth and hit her with a leg drop in the ring. Natalya came out to try make the save on her former partner but she also suffered the same fate as others. The segment could indicate the buildup for a tag team match between the Divas of Doom(Beth Pheonix and Natalya) and the Samoan Slaughterhouse(Nia Jax and Tamina) or some other related match at WrestleMania.
