WWE has officially revealed the release date of its upcoming documentary American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes. 

Peacock has released the trailer of Cody Rhodes documentary and revealed that it would premiere on July 31. It will chronicle Cody Rhodes’ return to the company. The documentary is 2-hours long, and it is unfiltered and unedited. It is narrated by Stephen Amell who is renowned for “Heels” and “Arrow.”

The trailer also shows glimpses of The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Triple H, Brandi Rhodes, and Kevin Owens along with several clips of his late great-father Dusty Rhodes. 

American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes will shed light on the downfall of Cody in WWE, and how he left WWE in 2016 and risked everything to get a name for himself. 

After six years, Cody Rhodes made his triumph return at WWE WrestleMania 38 in 2022 as Seth Rollins’ surprise opponent. One year later, the American Nightmare won the Royal Rumble match and then headlined WrestleMania 39. 

Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar and has already challenged him for a match at WWE SummerSlam 2023. Now, the latter will respond to Cody’s challenge tonight on Raw.
