CM Punk To Be on Commentary at WrestleMania, Meek Mill Also Coming

CM Punk WWE with Triple H

CM Punk’s role at WWE WrestleMania 40 has been made clear now as he will be on the commentary table for one match.

Punk made an appearance on WWE RAW this week in his hometown of Chicago, IL. He was addressing the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre bringing up his name while he is still recovering from his surgery. McIntyre interrupted him and they took shots at each other before McIntyre offered Punk to be a referee in his World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins, the champion, then came out and told them neither of them could make decisions about the title match as he is the reigning champion. Rollins then polled the crowd to see if they wanted to see Punk in a commentary role during the match. The crowd responded with a chant for “referee.” However, Rollins was not sold on the idea even after Punk demonstrated he could count well despite his injury.

After more verbal exchanges, Punk himself announced that he would be on the commentary for the match.

Another announcement regarding WrestleMania came during RAW this week as Meek Mill is announced to be involved at the show. No details were provided though.

Meek Mill took to social media during the weekend to post about how he was looking forward to have his children at WrestleMania. WWE Chief Content Officer “Triple H” Paul Levesque replied that he should clear his schedule for the event.

Keep tuned in for more news and updates from WWE WrestleMania 40.
