WWE RAW episode of March 25, 2024, presented five singles matches as the build-up for WrestleMania 40 entered the final stages. Sami Zayn faced Bronson Reed. Candice LeRae faced Ivy Nile. Shinsuke Nakamura took on Jey Uso. Andrade faced Ivar. Ricochet took on JD McDonagh.

CM Punk was also set for an appearance in his hometown as RAW came to Chicago, IL. Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley were expected to come face-to-face. Tune in below as we post results from WWE RAW March 25, 2024 episode.

RESULTS & UPDATES


Cody Rhodes came out to open the show. Cody took offense on Roman Reigns’ comments on The Pat McAfee Show where he called Cody a politician and it would be difficult for him to keep his promises. Cody then gave examples of how good he is at keeping promises and Chicago knows best about it. Cody then said he hates Roman’s guts and he does not mind if Roman hates him too as he is the reason that The Rock vs Roman is not happening at WrestleMania. Cody also asked the fans to help him and ride with him all the way to WrestleMania to beat Roman.

The Rock’s music hit, and he came out to stare down at Cody. He whispered something to Cody before leaving.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond tried to get comments from The Rock about what he said to Cody. The Rock replied that she should ask Cody about it.

We cut to Judgment Day’s lounge where they were talking about JD McDonagh’s match against Ricochet. Priest also talked about his plan to turn the odds in their favor at WrestleMania. Rhea Ripley told McDonagh that he should win tonight. Dominik Mysterio assured her that he would help him do so.

Ricochet defeated JD McDonagh in a singles match. It was a good contest between these two, barring interference from Dominik Mysterio. Ricochet caught McDonagh with Recoil heading into the second commercial break, but Dominik put McDonagh’s foot on the ropes. McDonagh hit a 450 splash but Ricochet kicked out of a near fall. After the second break, Ricochet hit a Canadian Destroyer, but Dominik distracted him and tripped him from the top rope. The referee then booted Dominik from the ringside. Ricochet then hit Shooting Star Press to get the pinfall.

CM Punk came out to the ring to a big hometown reception. He talked about still being not cleared for action, but said he would be at WrestleMania regardless. Drew McIntyre came out but did not came out in the ring and stood over the announce table. Punk and McIntyre traded barbs at each other. McIntyre asked Punk to be the special guest referee so he could watch him win the World title. Before Punk could answer, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out. Rollins said Punk and Drew did not get to decide about title matches as they are not champions. However, he decided to take a poll from the crowd. He asked if Punk should be on commentary for his match vs Drew McIntyre. The crowd started chanting “referee”, but Rollins said Punk’s counting arm is injured. Punk then went down to count to three with his left arm. Rollins then told Punk that he could do anything he wanted at WrestleMania, but he should stay out of his way. Punk replied that it’s decided. He dropped the mic and left the ring. McIntyre got enraged and got into the ring saying that Punk could not have the last word. As McIntyre rambled about Punk, Rollins caught him with a superkick and followed up with a stomp.

We got a video promo from Shinsuke Nakamura in Japanese with subtitles. Nakamura said why does Jey Uso get to complete his dream at WrestleMania and not him.

Candice LeRae defeated Ivy Nile in a singles match. Candice faked a leg injury as she wanted Indi Hartwell to attack Nile, but Indi hesitated. As Nile came into the ring, Candice tripped her with double leg and used the ropes as leverage to get the pinfall.

Backstage, New Day and DIY were arguing over the logic of their team names. R-Truth and The Miz came in, and Miz revealed that they would be on commentary in the match between them.

We got a video from Jey Uso talking about his family legacy at WrestleMania as we got rushes of Yokazuna, The Rock, Roman Reigns, & The Usos.

New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs DIY(Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) tag team match ended in a no-contest as Judgment Day attacked both teams.

The Miz and R-Truth were on the commentary. Miz ultimately got up and tried to attack Judgment Day but got taken down. R-Truth stayed on the commentary until Judgment Day came and picked him up. R-Truth took out all of them except Damian Priest who ran him over. Balor hit Coupe De Grace on R-Truth.

Jackie Redmond went to Cody Rhodes and asked about what The Rock told him. Cody said he could not tell her what Rock said but he could assure that The Rock could not keep that promise.

Andrade defeated Giovanni Vinci in a singles match after hitting Hammerlock DDT to get the pinfall.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was out to the ring with Dominik Mysterio. She said she was not getting enough attention in the past few weeks as Becky Lynch was fighting others every week. She did not want to interfere, but she was geting impatient. Becky Lynch came out and said she was not like Rhea who had given up on competing at RAW. Rhea said she did not need to compete every week to get attention. Becky retorted by saying that Rhea had not suffered a setback and did not know how to get up when chips are down. Rhea said Becky is like a cockroach, but she is not impossible to kill. Rhea warned her not to take it as far as WrestleMania as she would want to be alive to sit with Roux(Becky’s daughter). Lynch warned that taking her daughter’s name is not a joke, and also the title she was wearing was also not a joke. They got into face-off before Dominik got in between them. Becky dropped Dominik with a punch which sparked a brawl. Rhea sent Becky into the ring post. Rhea was heading back with Dominik, but Becky jumped on her on the ramp. Referees came out to keep them separated.

Backstage, Chad Gable stopped Sami Zayn and apologized for her comments from last week. Gable said Sami facing Bronson Reed is the kind of thing Gunther would have wanted Sami to do just two weeks before WrestleMania.

Bronson Reed defeated Sami Zayn in a singles match. Reed’s size was the difference between the two men during the match. Sami still fought hard and had the upper hand before Intercontinental Champion and Sami’s WrestleMania opponent Gunther came out to stand on the tage. Reed caught Sami’s crossbody from the top rope and slammed him to the mat. Reed hit Tsunami to get the pinfall.

Backstage, Jey Uso was hyped about Shinsuke Nakamura’s comments about him from earlier. Solo Sikoa came in and stared him down. Jimmy Uso also came in and told him, “No Yeet”.

After the break, Sami was frustrated with his loss when Chad Gable came in and said that’s what Gunther does to people using the mind games.

Seth Rollins met Jey Uso and told him that he had a bad feeling about tonight. So, he and Cody would have his back. Jey made his entrance for the match.

Jey Uso defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. In the final minutes of the match, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa came out to the ringside. Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes also ran out to brawl with them. Cody brawled with Solo to backstage. Drew McIntyre hit Rollins with futureshock DDT on the floor. Jey hit Nakamura with a superkick and a spear to get the pinfall.

Cody continued to beat up Solo and Jimmy backstage. The Rock attacked Cody from behind. He took Cody to the parking lot where Cody’s vanity bus was parked and slammed Cody into it several times. Cody had blood on his forehead. The Rock showed a weight belt with Mama Rhodes written on it. He said he promised Mama Rhodes that he would gift her a belt with Cody’s blood on it. The Rock then took the blood and spread it on the belt. The Rock then sent Cody into the bus one more time before the show went off the air.
