WWE RAW August 19: Women’s Tag Title & More Matches Announced
New Day will be in action on WWE RAW August 19, 2024 episode along with Women’s Tag Team Championship match and a singles clash between Sheamus and Pete Dunne.
New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will team up with Odessey Jones in a trios match to take on The Final Testament(Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar). Kross has been trying to create a rift between Kofi and Woods for months now. He tried to do the same once again this week on RAW as he said Kofi was trying to replace Big E in New Day with Jones.
Woods then called for another tag team match against The Final Testament. But, Kofi interjected to claim that whichever member of the Final Testament would be left out, would try to interfere in the match. Hence, he called out for a trios match with Jones joining them. The challenge was accepted.
Women’s Tag Team title match will be a triple threat contest. The reigning champions, The Unholy Union(Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) attacked both teams in Damage CTRL(Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) vs Pure Fusion Collective(Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler) match to cause a double DQ. Resultingly, they will now have to defend the title against both these teams on RAW August 19 episode.
Former stablemates, Pete Dunne and Sheamus have brawled on several occasions over the past few weeks. During his promo this week, Dunne blamed Sheamus for being named Butch upon his main roster call-up and how much he hated that name. They will clash in a singles match next week.
WWE RAW August 19, 2024 episode will air from Fort Lauderdale, FL. The current announced line-up is as below:

- New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) & Odessey Jones vs The Final Testament(Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar)
