Beth Pheonix coming out of retirement for WrestleMania 35
Beth Pheonix has announced that she will come out of retirement to compete for the Women’s Tag Team Championship along with her Diva of the Doom partner against the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection at WrestleMania this year.
Beth Pheonix stood up to Nia Jax and Tamina’s bullying at Fastlane and had been since fend off their attacks on Natalya, Sasha Banks and Bayley. Sasha and Bayley cut a promo last night at RAW and informed that they will go to SmackDown tonight to confront the IIconics. Beth Pheonix and Natalya interrupted them and Pheonix announced her wish for the WrestleMania match which was obvious from her actions in last few weeks.
Sasha and Bayley expressed their apprehensions if Pheonix would be able to compete to today’s level as she has retired for 6 years. This lead to a mini brawl between 4 of them and a match between Natalya and Sasha. The match also ended when Nia came out to mock Pheonix and Tamina attacked them amid the distraction. While leaving, Nia also mentioned the WrestleMania match.
