AEW Weekly TV Show To Starts From October 2

AEW, All Elite Wrestling, has announced that their weekly TV show will start from 2 October 2019.

All Elite Wrestling started teasing a big announcement regarding their TV show when started promoting their new Twitter handle ‘@AEWonTNT’ from this Monday. And the big announcement did come earlier today when AEW announced that their weekly TV show will indeed start from 2nd October as it was anticipated earlier.

The first show will air from Washington DC’s Capital One Arena. Ticket pricing and on-sale date for the televised live event will be announced on Monday, July 29, at 12 p.m. ET via AEW’s social media platforms. The show will air between 8 to 10 PM ET timings. The name of the show is not announced yet. AEW has trademarked Wednesday Night Dynamite name. So, it is expected to go with the same name.

AEW has a deal with WarnerMedia’s TNT TV Channel to air the weekly show in the United States. WarnerMedia’s BRLive will also stream the shows online in the United States with all the PPV shows. Apart from this, AEW also had a deal with ITV to air the PPV shows in the UK. It is currently not announced whether ITV will also air the weekly show for AEW.

AEW was first announced on 1 January 2019 via Being the Elite Youtube channel. It was founded by President and CEO Tony Khan with the funding coming from entrepreneur Shahid Khan. Members of the Elites- Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega serve as the Executive Vice Presidents apart from being part of the roster which also includes Chris Jericho, Hangman Adam Page, Jon Moxley, Britt Baker, Allie, and Awesome Kong, among others.

The promotion has already hosted three shows, Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen. All the shows, especially Double or Nothing, has got a positive reaction from audience and critics alike. They will host their fourth show, All Out, on 31 August 2019 at Sears Center in Chicago, Illinois, US.
