AEW Rampage Live Results March 17, 2023- St. Patrick’s Day Slam
AEW Rampage episode of March 17, 2023, will be airing late at night from 11:30 PM ET onwards, but we will still be live here with all the results and live updates from the show.
The episode will also be St. Patrick’s Day slam special since it will be airing on the same day as the festival. The show was actually pretaped with AEW Dynamite earlier this week and we have spoilers here. Taya Valkyrie, just the second signing from AEW in 2023, would be making her in-ring AEW debut.
Matt Menard and Angelo Parker would face the Bollywood Boyz in a tag team match. Rey Fenix has answered the open challenge from Powerhouse Hobbs for AEW TNT Championship. Daniel Garcia vs Brody King match will take forward the rivalry between JAS and House of Black.

- Powerhouse Hobbs(c) defeated Rey Fenix in a singles match via pinfall to retain AEW TNT Championship.
- Taya Valkyrie defeated Eva Lawless in a singles match via pinfall.
- 2PointO(Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) defeated Bollywood Boys(Gurv Sihra & Harv Sihra) in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Daniel Garcia defeated Brody King in a singles match via referee’s stoppage.
LIVE UPDATES
Powerhouse Hobbs(c) vs Rey Fenix – AEW TNT Championship
QTV crew is at ringside for the match. Hobbs tackles Fenix as he charges. This happens once again. Fenix tries to get on his back but Hobbs drops him with a back elbow. Fenix ducks a clothesline before hitting him with another back elbow. Fenix uses a low bridge to send Hobbs to the floor. Fenix hits back-to-back suicide dive before a moonsault to finally get Hobbs down.
Hobbs catches Fenix as they return to the ring and hits a body slam. Hobbs beats up Fenix on the floor before hitting hard whips to send Fenix into the turnbuckle a few times. Hobbs hits a delayed vertical suplex to get a two-count. We cut to a break.
Hobbs is choking Fenix on the floor as we return. The referee tells him to get back into the ring. Hobbs asks Fenix to get up before he slams him back down with blows to the back. Fenix hits a back elbow and a back flip kick to break a nerve hold. He hits a corkscrew kick before Hobbs sweeps his leg on the ropes. Hobbs pulls Fenix off the ropes to hit a powerslam to get a close two-count.
Fenix hits a back heel kick after a counter in the corner. Hobbs blocks a German suplex but he manages to hit it in the second attempt. Hobbs pops him away to break the pinfall. Fenix rolls through to hit a cutter. Fenix walks the rope to hit a running kick. Hobbs ducks a dive and tackles him hard into the corner. Hobbs hits a spinebuster but Fenix kicks out of the pin.
Fenix hits a superkick. Hobbs nails him with a forearm but Fenix bounces back up to hit another superkick. Fenix goes to the top again and hits a frog splash but Hobbs kicks out of the pin. Fenix hits more superkicks to get Hobbs down to his knees. Hobbs hits another spinebuster before hitting a torture rack slam to get the pinfall.
Winner – Powerhouse Hobbs
Alex Abrahantes gets into the ring to check on Rey but Hobbs picks him up. QT Marshall hits Alex with a Diamond Cutter.
We see a pre-recorded promo from Adam Cole about his in-ring return on March 29 Dynamite episode. He says he is looking for someone to remind him how good he is.
Taya Valkyrie vs Eva Lawless
Taya hits a waistlock takedown after the bell before a back elbow and a clothesline inthe corner. She hits double knees in the corner and some overhead chops. Taya hits a spear before hitting Road to Valhalla/Jaded to get the pinfall.
Winner – Taya Valkyrie
After the match, we see Jade Cargill looking at Taya and telling Mark Sterling to note down something.
We get a video package for Stokeley Hathaway getting ready to face Hook in a match at Dynamtie next week and being trained by Matt Hardy, Ethan Page and Isiah Kassidy.
2Point0(Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) vs Bollywood Boys(Gurv Sihra & Harv Sihra)
Parker starts against Gurv and 2PointO corner Gurv in the corner. Parker also take shots at Harv before Bollywood Boys turn it around with some quick moves. Menard take control over Harv with a back elbow. He takes Harv to his corner before Parker tags in and hits a snap suplex. We cut to a break.
Bollywood Boyz try to make a comeback after Gurv tags in. He hits a leg lariat on Menard but 2PointO double team to trip him. Harv is thrown to the floor and Gurv is hit with an elevated double DDT to get the pinfall.
Winner – 2Point0
We see Don Callis welcoming Konosuke Takeshita to Winnipeg and showing him a teaser of what to expect with Callis as his manager.
Brody King vs Daniel Garcia
Garcia moves out of the ring and hugs Chris Jericho on the floor. Brody is enraged at Garcia’s antics as Garcia gets out of the ring for the second time and runs around the ring. Garcia catches him with a low dropkick to the knee when he returns to the ring. Brody throws him to the corner and hits a corner splash. Garcia avoids a second splash before Brody nails a big chop. Garcia moves to the floor once again.
Julia Hart blocks Garcia’s path when he gets back to running around the ring. Brody slams him with a big double hand chop. Brody whips Garcia into the barricade and hits more big chops. He sets up Garcia and hits a crossbody against the barricade. Brody hits another big chop before throwing him into the steel steps. Garcia counters his charge with a drop toe hold to send Brody face-first into the steel steps. We cut to a break.
Brody is roaring as we return from the break. He hits a swinging slam on Garcia to get a two-count. He hits a piledriver to get another close two-count. Brody hits some big chops in the corner before hitting a cannonball. Garcia gets his legs on the ropes to break the pin. Garcia blocks another piledriver before hitting some knee strikes at Brody’s leg. He tries to choke Brody with a rear naked choke. Brody is unable to get back to his feet and fall down a couple of times.
Brody gets to his feet and slams Garcia into the corner a couple of times before slamming him to the mat. Brody hits a discus lariat. Garcia slips out of the Razor’s Edge and rolls up Brody to get a two-count. Garcia puts on Boston Crab. Brody drags to the ropes to break. Garcia argues with the referee to distract him. Jericho hits Brody with his baseball bat. Garcia puts on a crossface after Brody has gone to sleep. The referee calls the match.
