Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Grand Slam Rampage episode on September 22, 2023, which was pre-taped on Wednesday at Arthur Stadium(Spoilers available here)

7 matches were taped for the show. Julia Hart took on Skye Blue in a singles match. Adam Page and The Young Bucks challenged the Mogul Embassy for ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champioship. A 4-way tag team match saw a new contender being crowned for a ROH Tag Team Championship featuring The Hardys, Best Friends, The Righteous and The Kingdom.

The Acclaimed & Billy Gun defended AEW Trios Championship against Dark Order. Sting and Darby Allin took on Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Mike Santana was in singles action. Orange Cassidy, Hook & Kris Statlander were in a mixed tag match against Anna Jay, Angelo Parker & Matt Menard. LIVE UPDATES

Darby Allin & Sting vs Luchasaurus & Christian Cage

Sting goes after Christian while Darby fights Luchasaurus. Sting and Cage crash on the floor. Luchasaurus overpowers Darby and beat him up while Sting continues to fight Christian on the floor. Christian gets involved after the tag but the team keeps control. After the break, Luchasaurus hits a chokeslam on Darby and Sting has to break the pin. Darby dodges a diving headbutt from Christian to make a comeback in the match. Sting hits lariats after a hot tag and a spinebuster and stinger splashes in the corner. Stinger Death Drops on both opponents before Darby hits the Coffin Drop on Luchasaurus. Christian goes for Killswitch on Darby but Nick Wayne gets on the apron to distract him. Darby rolls up Christian to get the pin.

Orange Cassidy, Hook & Kris Statlander vs Anna Jay & 2Point0(Angelo Parker & Matt Menard) – Mixed Tag Team Match

Hook and Menard start the match but Menard immediately tags in Parker. Hook hits armdrags before the women tag in for some back and forth action. Statlander hits a delayed vertical suplex. Jake Hager pulls Cassidy off the apron. Hook gets controlled over by Parker before some quick tags from the heels. Hook fights back with a double clothesline after the break. Cassidy gets to the top but comes down when Menard and Parker try to counter. Cassidy instead hits a double dropkick. He hits Hager with a suicide dive. Hook, Statlander and Cassidy hit stereo triple suplex. Cassidy hits an Orange Punch on Jake Hager. Jay puts Cassidy in the Queenslayer. Statlander drops Jay face first into the mat. Hook puts Redrum on Menard. Cassidy hits Parker with an Orange Punch to get the win.

Kenny & Jericho Take on Don Callis Family

Don Callis is out to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. He says while he was not able to recruit Chris Jericho, he got the man he really wanted – Sammy Guevara. Guevara comes out and say he hated Callis for a long time, but Callis showed him that he did not have a family until now. He dumps on the fans for back and forth on him. Sammy also says Jericho is dead to him. Jericho comes out. Takeshita meets him on the ramp to brawl. Callis attacks Jericho from behind to allow upperhand for his team. Callis tries to hit Jericho with a screwdriver but Kenny Omega runs out with a lead pipe to send them packing.

After the break, Jericho meets Kenny backstage and thanks him for the save.

The Kingdom vs The Hardys vs The Righteous vs Best Friends – #1 contender match for ROH Tag Team Championship

Brawl breaks out with The Kingdom vs Best Friends and The Righteous vs The Hardys pairing. Best Friends and The Hardys hit elbow drops from the middle ropes to other two teams. They look for a Best Friends hug, but The Righteous and The Kingdom attack them before it. The match breaks down again on the outside. Best Friends hits suicide dives to take us to a break. The match settles down during the break. The Hardys double-team on Vincent with Poetry in Motion. Taven is taken out by The Righteous with a leg sweep. Dutch hits the Black Hole Slam on several opponents. Beretta blocks it to hit a suplex. More quick action follows and The Kingdom hit Matt with a Swanton Bomb to get the pinfall.

After the match, the Kingdom attack the Best Friend who took them out during the final minute.

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn(c) vs The Dark Order – AEW Trios Championship

Caster hits a shoulder tackle on Reynolds to start, followed by arm drag. Silver and Bowens tag in and Bowens delivers a boot. Gunn and Bowens land a double back elbow and a double elbow drop before a bodyslam. Reynolds pulls Bowens down from the top rope. Uno tossed Gunn into the ring post. Caster is take down with German suplex in the ring before Dark Order do Scissor Me to take us to a break. Dark Order keep control until Caster makes the hot tag. Gunn runs over Reynolds. Bowens hits a superkick and The Arrival. Caster follows it up with Mic Drop but Silver breaks the pin. Uno hits Caster with a title belt while the referee tries to get Silver out. Caster manages to land a Famouser on Reynolds. Bowens and Caster hits assisted Falcon Arrow to get the pinfall.

Skye Blue vs Julia Hart

Hart offers a handshake but Skye is alert to any wrongdoings while Hart says something to her ears. Skye starts with quick moves after a knee strike to midsection. Hart counters in the corner and unloads on her to take us to a break. Skye gets to the top where Hart meets her to start an exchange. Julia hits a superplex while she hangs onto the ropes herself. A moonsault gets her a two-count. Hart hits a shot to the back of the head before putting on Heartless to get a tapout.

Hart puts on the Heartless once again. Willow Nightingale runs out to make the save.

Mike Santana vs Bear Bronson

Bullet Club Gold cut a promo backstage for Jay White’s match vs Andrade El Idolo at Collision this week.

Bronson lands quick shots in the corner after pulling Santana off the top rope when he is showing off. Santana gets back in the match quickly. He hits a roll in cutter, a discuss lariat, and a suicide dive. Santana finishes off with Jay Driller to get the pinfall. After the match, Ortiz walks down the ramp. Santana stares him down for a while before going back.

The Mogul Embassy(c) vs Hangman Adam Page & the Young Bucks – ROH 6-Man Championship

The Mogul Embassy attack during Code of Honor handshake. Adam Page leads the fight back before The Young Bucks do their tag team magic to take over control. Swerve Strickland comes out to the stage. Page gets out of the ring to deal with him but the Embassy quickly take control of the match for some quick action to take us to a break. Page gets a hot tag to run riot. Cage took him to the top rope in fireman’s carry but Page counters with a hurricanrana. The Embassy hits a three way Air Raid Crash but do not get any pinfall. Cage ducks a buckshot lariat. Page rolls up Cage to get a pinfall to win the titles.
