AEW Rampage episode of February 4, 2022, will feature the build-up towards AEW Revolution 2022 PPV. The show will be pre-taped with AEW Dynamite episode of February 2.

Mercedes Martinez vs Thunder Rosa grudge match and FTW Championship match between Ricky Starks and Jay Lethal are announced for the show.

Adam Cole vs Evil Uno

Cole lands a high boot to start the match. He unloads on Uno until the referee stops him. He hits a backstabber next. Uno stops a pump kick and hits a neckbreaker. He hits a back elbow and a clothesline. A knife edge chop drop Cole before Uno htis a bit boot. Cole gets his knees up on a senton. Cole hits a running knee and a couple of superkicks. Cole hits a running knee to get the pin.

Winner – Adam Cole

Cole gets on the mic after the match. He lists all the wrestlers he has defeated in singles matches in AEW. He says he is undefeated because the unsanctioned loss to Orange Cassidy doesn’t count in AEW record. Now, he is a new and ruthless Adam Cole, will take what he wants, and what he wants is some respect. He has been one of the best wrestlers in the world for years regardless of which company he has been in and always becomes the guy. Now, he wants the AEW World Championship.

Jade Cargill cuts a promo in a pre-recorded video where she says she’s green like money and wonders who is next to fall to her undefeated streak?

Sammy Guevara(c) vs Isiah Kassidy – AEW TNT Championship Match

Kassidy grabs Sammy leg and takes him down. Kassidy hits dropkick to Guevara. Guevara fires back as they trade punches. A dropkick by Guevara sends Kassidy to the outside. Guevara follows him out with a twisting suicide dive over the top rope. Guevara brings Kassidy back into the ring. Guevara avoids interference by Quen. Hardy hits side-effect to take us to the break.

Sammy hits a clothesline as we return. He hits a knee strike next. Sammy is looking for GTH but could not get Isiah on his shoulders. Isiah sends him to the corner but runs into a superkick. Sammy goes to the top but gets distracted by Andrade’s entrance. Isiah tries to attack him but Sammy drops him to the floor. Isiah hits a knees to the back and a backstabber for a two-count.

Sammy goes for a springboard but Kassidy hits him wth a neckbreaker on the ropes. He hits a suicide dive and quickly brings Sammy back for a two-count. Sammy counters with a backslide for a two-count. Isiah hits a corkscrew kick and Sammy hits back with a kick of his own. More back and forth action before Sammy hits a double springboard cutter for a near fall. Sammy hits GTH for the pin and the win.

Winner – Sammy Guevara

Andrade, Jose, and Matt Hardy get into the ring after the match. Jericho stands up on the commentary to help out Sammy, but Darby Allin runs down to the ring help Sammy. AHFO leaves the ring. Darby and Sammy staredown for a while before Darby signals his respect for TNT title.

Kris Statlander was interviewed backstage when she gets attacked by Leyla Hirsch from behind with a steel chair. Hirsch nails Statlander with a knee strikes against the chair and leaves her down on the floor.

Thunder Rosa vs Mercedes Martinez

Rosa starts with a shotgun dropkick. Rosa with more kicks and an elbow drop. She works on Martinez on the ropes before hitting her with hip attack. Martinez is sent into the barricade followed by a snap suplex. Back to the ring, Rosa is still in control. Martinez comes back with a spinebuster to take us to the break.

Rosa counters to hit an avalanche Death Valley Driver as we return from the ring. Rosa continues to be in control for a while. They end up on the floor and Martinez nails Rosa with a lead pipe. The referee calls for a disqualification.

Winner – Thunder Rosa

Martinez is interviewed backstage and she says she made it clear that she is out to take out Rosa. AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker comes over with Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Britt reveals it was not Jade Cargill but Britt herself who brought in Martinez to take care of Rosa. She tells Martinez to not to lose to Rosa again, otherwise she will make sure that Martinez’s job here will be shorter than her last job(in IMPACT).

Ricky Starks(c) vs Jay Lethal – FTW Championship

Lethal starts with a side headlock into a shoulder tackle. More headlocks from both men before Lethal hits another tackle. Starks him with a big punch. Lethal brings him down for some ground and pound. They trade punches before trading chops in the corner and the ropes. Lethal hits more chops. Starks kicsk at him before hitting double ax handle on the back of his neck.

Lethal trips Starks to the floor before hitting back-to-back suicide dives. Powerhouse Hobbs gets in Lethal’s face. The distraction allows Starks to slam Lethal into the ringpost. Hobbs stands on top on Lethal as we cut to the break.

Starks hits a belly to belly suplex as we return. A bit of back and forth before Lethal hits a clothesline. Both men are down. Lethal gets a couple of pin attempts. He hits a backbreaker on his knees to get another two-count. Starks gets his boot up in the corner. After a bit of back and forth, Starks hits a liger bomb for a two-count. They trade strikes while on their knees.

Lethal hits a spinning kick. He hits a dropkick on Hobbs as he gets up on the apron. Hobbs manages to take down Lethal to the floor. Dante Martin comes out and takes out Hobbs. Lethal gets back in the ring and Starks reverses Lethal Injection into the Roshambo to get the pin.

Winner – Ricky Starks

Mercedes Martinez vs Thunder Rosa: Martinez’s debut in AEW came during the semifinal of TBS Title tournament where she cost Rosa the match against Jade Cargill. They have gone back and forth in promos since then. They will finally collide in a grudge match this week on Rampage.

FTW Championship: Jay Lethal had enough of Team Taz bullying Dante Martin and came out in his support a few weeks back. Ricky Starks has now called him with FTW title on the line.
