AEW Dynamite episode of September 13, 2023, will be the penultimate episode before Grand Slam 2023 week. It will feature two title contender matches and Jon Moxley defending International Championship against Big Bill.

Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe will clash for the shot at AEW World title at Grand Slam, while a fatal 4-way match will decide women’s title contender. Jon Moxley(c) vs Big Bill – AEW International Championship

Jon Moxley is set to defend AEW International tite for the third time in 10 days since winning it. He will defend it against a mamoth of a man in Big Bill. Bill and Ricky Starks attacked Bryan Danielson on Collision September 9 episode before Moxley came to his rescue. However, Bill dropped Moxley with a big shot, and later challenged him for the title. Even with the kind of workhorse he is, will Moxley be able to keep up with the demands of International title?

Roderick Strong vs Samoa Joe- Final of World Title Eliminator

Two challengers in Roderick Starks and Samoa Joe – both of whom have an ongoing rivalry with MJF – will clash in the final of Grand Slam World Title Eliminator tournament. Strong has vowed to dethrone MJF, a task that his friend Adam Cole failed to do at All In. Joe started the rivalry at All Out when he shoved MJF away. Which one is more desperate to face MJF at Grand Slam?

Women’s Title Fatal 4-way #1 Contender match

Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida – all former AEW Women’s Champions – will clash in fatal 4-way match on Dynamite September 13 in order to get a title shot against Saraya at Grand Slam. Hikaru Shida entered All In as the champion and lost it to Saraya in a match which also included Baker and Storm. Will either of them earn another title shot, or will Nyla Rose get the title match in New York?

What Else is Announced?

Hangman Adam Page vs Brian Cage: While the rivalry started with Page and Swerve Strickland last week, Swerve’s stablemate Brian Cage will be facing Hangman at Dynamite this week after attacking him last week.

Don Callis to reveal his next Masterpiece: Buoyed by Konosuke Takeshita pinning Kenny Omega twice in two weeks, Don Callis has created another one of his masterpieces which will be revealed this week on Dynamite.

We hear from Le Sex Gods: Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara are set to fight at Grand Slam to deal with the animosity between them. Before that, we will hear more from them on Dynamite September 13 episode.
