Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Dynamite episode of November 2, 2022, which will feature 4 title matches along with AEW World Title Eliminator match.

Jon Moxley will face Lee Moriarty in a title eliminator match. Orange Cassidy defends All Atlantic Championship in a triple threat match against Luchasaurus and Rey Fenix. TBS Women’s Champion Jade Cargill faces Marina Shafir. Chris Jericho will defend ROH World Championship against a former ROH Champion.

Darby Allin takes on Jay Lethal in a rematch. Samoa Joe will face Brian Cage to defend ROH TV Championship. Saraya and Britt Baker will give a face-to-face interview to Renee Paquette. The Acclaimed will celebrate Billy Gunn’s birthday.

Live Updates

Darby Allin vs Jay Lethal

Allin starts hot. He hits a crossbody on the floor. Lethal is sent into the barricade. Darby goes for a dive but he stops when he sees Satnam Singh in the way. Jay hits a cheap shot to get control. He beats up Darby on the floor. He gets back to the ring and Darby breaks the countdown from the referee. Darby gets his boot up on the apron but Lethal catches his leg and stomps his knee on the apron. Lethal hits a German suplex on the apron. We cut to a break.

Darby hits a springboard crossbody as we return. Lethal counters in the corner and drops Darby with a suplex with Darby’s leg hooked. Lethal goes for a knee drop from the top but Darby counters and puts him in a crucifix choke. Lethal gets out of it and Darby then counters Lethal Injection with double knees. Darby puts on a sleeper choke. Lethal gets to his feet and tries to break the choke but Darby holds on. Lethal slams him into the corner with the choke still on.

Lethal breaks the choke but Darby hits him with a stunner. Darby was going for a coffin drop but Lethal rolls to the floor and behind Satnam Singh. Darby goes for a suicide dive on Satnam Singh but he remains unmoved. The referee then boots Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt from the ring side. A masked man dressed as Sting hits Darby with a bat. Lethal hits Lethal Injection to get the pin.

Winner – Jay Lethal

After the match, the masked man is revealed to be Cole Carter. Sting’s music hits and Lethal and company get to the ramp. Darby also get up in the ring. Jeff Jarrett comes from behind and slams Darby with a guitar. Jarrett then cuts a promo firing warning for whole roster.


Jon Moxley cuts a promo backstage for his match against Lee Moriarty. Moxley reveals how they were once considering picking Moriarty for Blackpool Combat Club, but they decided he was not mean enough and nasty enough for BCC. Moxley says he will teach him a lesson in pain.


We go to a break, but instead we cut to a video package with someone watching AEW Trios title match at All Out and then Death Triangle winning those titles 3 days later. In the next clip, The Elites are once again deleted from the page of champions. We cut to a break.

Jon Moxley vs Lee Moriarty – AEW World Title Eliminator

Moriarty has his hands up in boxing pose as the bell rings. He goes for a standing switch, but Moxley counters. They trade calf kicks. Moxley drops Moriarty with a big punch. He unloads on Moriarty in the corner from the second rope. He hits an overhead throw. Moriarty hits elbows and a calf kick. He hits European uppercuts after whipping Moxley to the corner. Moxley goes for a corner tackle but Moriarty side steps. Moriarty hits an armbreaker to take us to a break.

Moxley hits a suplex thrown as we return. Moriarty gets the control back and unloads on the mat. Moriarty goes for BCC-style stomps on the face. Moxley blocks it after 3-4 blows and gets back to his feet. Moxley hits a King Kong lariat and stomps on Moriarty’s face. Moriarty kicks on the arm and hits another armbreaker. Moxley hits a cutter but Moriarty kicks out. Moriarty hits some punches but Moxley fires back with his own shots. Moriarty hits a back suplex but Moxley just gets back and hits a suplex himself. Moriarty also gets up quickly.

Moxley puts him in crossface but Moriarty counters and puts on Border City Stretch. Moxley counters with a pin attempt. Moxley puts on armbar to get the submission.

Winner – Jon Moxley

Ethan Page gets into the ring and hits Moxley with a big boot. The Firm stand tall in the ring.


Renee Paquette is sitting down for an interview with Saraya only after Britt Baker has not shown up. Saraya goes off on Baker for being unprofessional. She talks about how she made women’s divisions everywhere she went and Baker should be lucky to be sitting in an interview with her. Renee asks her about her in-ring return. Saraya says she will tell us about it next week as she wants to consult one more doctor.

Daddy A– Birthday Bash

The Acclaimed come out with BirthDay Dad Billy Gunn. Gunn’s both hands are taped up and he can’t scissor. Anthony Bowens takes the mic and talks about how Shane “Swerve” Strickland sneaked on Gunn and he can’t scissor anymore. So, the first gift for Gunn is new 2 finger foam so that everyone can scissor even if their hand are broken. They ask the crown if anyone has got gifts for Daddy. Caster brings in paper scissors from someone in the crowd. Bowens talks about Gunn’s 30 years career before they hand him a trophy for World’s Greatest Dad. Bowens says he had made huge plans but his guests were bummed about Gunn not going to the reunion. Gunn does DX’s s-ck it sign.

Bowens then reveals an adoption certificate for them to get adopted by Gunn. Billy Gunn is exhilarated. Austin and Colten Gunn come out. They ask if their invitation got lost. They have brought a gift for Billy regardless. W Morrissey levels Billy with a big boot before dropping the Acclaimed. Colten and Austin also get into the ring to beat up The Acclaimed. FTR come out to make the save. FTR hand The Acclaimed their titles.


Britt Baker is giving an interview now to Tony Schiavone. Baker says she is not showing up to Renee & Saraya’s party knowing far enough about conspiracy theories. Baker and Jamie Hayter just want to wrestle and ask for a match on Rampage.

Chris Jericho(c) vs Colt Cabana – ROH World Championship

Jericho enters the ring with Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager. Colt Cabana reveals himself as the challenger. Cabana is almost in tears as he heads down to the ring. He gets into Jericho’s face as they shake hands for Code of Honor. Cabana starts with an upper hand.

Cabana hits a shoulder tackle to drop Jericho. He hits a big boot in the corner after unloading for a while. Cabana hits a few clotheslines on the ropes before Jericho slips to the floor. Cabana follows him to the floor. Jericho hits chops and elbows. Cabana hits back with punches when Jericho moves to the top. Jericho hits headscissors takedown from the top turnbuckle to the floor. Garcia actually got under Jericho to save him from a move gone wrong. We cut to a break.

Jericho is hitting punches as we return. Cabana hits a hip attack before some chops. He hits diving splash from the second rope to get a two-count. He goes to the top again but Jericho trips him. Jericho gets him on his shoulders and Cabana counters with a victory roll for a two-count. Cabana blocks Liontamer and hits punches. Jericho rakes his eyes but Cabana ducks Judas Effect. Cabana puts inverted Boston Crab but Jericho breaks it. Cabana goes for superman but Haker pulls his arm to break the pin attempt. After Cabana deals with Hager, Jericho hits him with Codebreaker to get the pin.

Winner – Chris Jericho

Matt Menard and Angelo Parker pick up Ian Riccobani from the commentary as Jericho gets to the ramp. Jericho breaks Riccobani’s glasses. Claudio Castagnoli runs in and attacks Jericho. Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta also run in. Security gets things under control.


Renee is with Death Triangle. Rey Fenix says he is ready and will become a double champion later tonight. PAC says the real revenge for Death Triangle will be to hit Cassidy with hammer.

Orange Cassidy(c) vs Luchasaurus vs Rey Fenix – Triple Threat match for AEW All Atlantic Championship

Luchasaurus is standing in between the other two. They attack him together but he swats them away. Luchasaurus hits a big uppercut on Fenix. Fenix and Cassidy unload on Luchasaurus together and send him to outside with stereo dropkicks. Cassidy hits lazy kicks on Fenix. Fenix hits a series of quick moves. Cassidy counters many of them before hitting a tornado DDT. They get two-counts with their pin attempts. Luchasaurus comes in and drops both of them with shoulder tackles. Luchasaurus puts Fenix into the corner before hitting a suplex on Cassidy. Luchasaurus hits corner splashes and poses in the corner to take us to a break.

Fenix is hitting Luchasaurus with body shots but Luchasaurus swats him away. Cassidy hits stundog millionaire and Fenix hits a spinning kick on Luchasaurus at the same time. Orange sends him to the floor with an Orange Punch. Luchasaurus falls to the floor. Luchasaurus catches both Fenix and Cassidy when they go for stereo suicide dives. Cassidy is thrown to the corner and Fenix is put through a table with a chokeslam. Luchasaurus takes Cassidy up the ramp. Cassidy goes for the Orange punch but Luchasaurus hits him with a headbutt.

Luchasaurus was going for a chokeslam on Cassidy but Jungle Boy comes to unload on Luchasaurus with steel chair. Jungle Boy hits a crossbody to take Luchasaurus off the stage and into a table below. Cassidy and Fenix are at ringside. PAC runs in and hands Fenix a hammer but Fenix throws it. Back to the ring, Fenix and Cassidy trade pin attempts quickly. Fenix goes for a springboard move but Cassidy cuts him off with Orange punch to get the pin.

Winner – Orange Cassidy

PAC attacks Cassidy after the bell. Katsuyori Shibata comes out and PAC stops and leaves the ring. Shibata gets into the ring and Cassidy gets up. Shibata points to All Atlantic title. Cassidy hands him a contract. Shibata signs it. The match is set for Rampage this week.


Shane Strickland is with “The Biggest Boss” Rick Ross. Ross says they are celebrating here as they are trying to make Strickland the biggest recording artist in the world. Keith Lee comes in and asks Strickland some questions about his actions lately. Strickland proposes that they take on an 8-man tag team match with them team up with Gunn Club to take on Acclaimed and FTR.

Jade Cargill(c) vs Marina Shafir – AEW TBS Women’s Championship

Cargill takes Shafir to the corner and stomps on her while Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero come out to the stage to do the commentary. They go to the floor and continue to brawl. Cargill throws Shafir into the ring and goes after towards Nyla, but she had to run back to avoid the countdown. Shafir goes for a knee bar but Cargill kicks her away. Cargill hits a pump kick and hits Jaded to get the pin.

Winner – Jade Cargill

Keira Hogan tries to get the title belt from Nyla but Nyla drops her and runs away. Cargill comes and stands on top on Hogan for a while before heading to the back.


We see a video package from House of Black where we see Malakai Black lying dead. Julia Hart gets his cremation done. Black gets reincarnated after this.

Samoa Joe(c) vs Brian Cage – ROH TV Championship

Joe goes for a shoulder tackle but Cage no-sells it. Cage hits forearms. Joe finally drops Cage with a tackle. Cage hits more forearms as he takes Joe to the corner. Joe comes back with a chop and some jabs. He hits a corner splash and an enzuigiri. A snapmare, a chop to spine, a kick to face and an elbow drop from Joe in quick succession gets him a two-count. Cage hits a dropkick after Prince Nana distracts Joe. Cage hits tackles in the corner before big chops. Cage hits bodykicks before hitting a clothesline. Joe hits some jabs but Cage stops him with a tackle. He hits a chop, an enzuigiri and a German suplex to take us to a break.

Cage hits a suicide dive on Joe on the floor as we return. Cage does double biceps pose in the ring. Joe starts nailing him with jabs. He hits a big chop, manhatten drop, a big boot and a senton to get a two-count. Joe hits a powerslam to get a two-count. Cage hits a jumping knee and then hits a 619. He hits a twisting elbow drop to get a two-count. Cage hits a pumphandle slam to get a near fall. Joe goes for a discus lariat but Cage nails him with a kick and hits a discus lariat himself. Joe escpaes Fireman’s carry and puts on Coquina Clutch to get the submission.

Winner – Samoa Joe

Gates of Agony attack Joe after the match. Wardlow runs out and The Embassy retreat. Powerhouse Hobbs comes from behind to drop Wardlow with a spinebuster. Hobbs picks up the TNT Championship and poses with it to close the show.
