AEW Dynamite March 27: Ospreay vs Shibata, Swerve vs Takeshita Set
Two big singles matches are announced for AEW Dynamite episode of March 27, 2024.
This week on Dynamite, Swerve Strickland continued his search for another title shot against AEW World Champion Samoa Joe. He defeated The Butcher in a singles match before calling out Joe once again.
Joe came out and agreed that he would need to face and beat Swerve in order to shut him up. However, Don Callis interrupted them and pointed out how Konosuke Takeshita also has a record similar to Swerve Strickland’s and, therefore, deserves a title shot himself.
The match between Swerve and Takeshita was announced officially after this segment. Although not announced yet, the winner of this match might get a title shot against Samoa Joe next.
Will Ospreay was upset at Bryan Danielson as he came out for an interview on Dynamite March 20 episode. Danielson defeated Shibata in match on Collision last week before going on to say that Ospreay could not walk in his shoes.
Ospreay replied to these comments by saying he would have no problem in walking into Danielson’s shoes if they were not small for him. To prove that he is better than Danielson, Ospreay will face Katsuyori Shibata in a singles match.
AEW Dynamite March 27, 2024 episode will air from Centre Videotron in Quebec City, QC, Canada. The announced line-up for the show as of now is as below:
