AEW Collision January 6: FTR vs HOB, Eddie vs Barretta Set

AEW has revealed several matches for Collision episode of January 6, 2024, including Eddie Kingston’s first title defense of AEW Continental Crown.

Kingston became the first AEW Triple Crown Champion at Worlds End by winning Continental Classic 2023 tournament. AEW announced a fatal 4-way match between El Hijo Del Vikingo, Trent Beretta vs Brian Cage and Bryan Keith to determine his first challenger.

Trent Baretta ended up winning this match to set up a clash with Eddie Kingston.

House of Black’s Malakai Black and Buddy Mathews were already announced to take on FTR. The rivalry between these two teams have been going for a long time with HOB pursuing a match against FTR.

AEW Collision episode of January 6, 2023, is set to air from Bonjagles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC. The announced line-up is as below:

• Eddie Kingston(c) vs Trent Baretta – AEW Continental Championship
• FTR(Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs House of Black(Malakai Black & Buddy Mathews)
