Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Collision episode on August 26, 2023 which was taped earlier this week with Dynamite(spoilers available here).

The show featured the final build-up towards All In 2023 PPV. An 8-man tag team match was set to headline the show with CM Punk, Sting, Darby Allin facing Jay White, Swerve Stickland, Brian Cage and Luchasaurus. Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy and Penta El Zero Meido battled The Butcher, The Blade & Kip Sabian in a trios match.

Jack Perry was set for a segemt to retire FTW Championship. Keith Lee returned to action. Big Bill was also in action with Ricky Starks as his manager. Willow Nightingale faced Robyn Renegade in another singles match.

  • Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, & Penta El Zero Meido defeated The Butcher, The Blade, & Kip Sabian in a tag team match via pinfall.

FTW Title Retired!

Jack Perry comes out, and behind him 4 men are carrying FTW title for its funeral. Perry picks it up and puts it on a table in the ring. “You suck” chants from the crowd. Perry says it is his job as the greatest FTW Champion to come out and say nice things about it. In 100 years, when they would talk about it, it will be his face beside it. Perry then shows us photo montage of him with FTW title. He says it’s time to put it to rest. He brings out a sledgehammer. Lights go out suddenly and a video from Hook airs saying that FTW title is his title. Hook is behind Perry in the ring and hits a spinebuster before throwing him around. Hook sets up table in the corner and puts Perry through it with a T-Bone suplex. He takes the mic and says, “Wembley, Sunday”, and leaves.


We see a video package for the storyline between MJF and Adam Cole.

Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, & Penta El Zero Meido vs The Butcher, The Blade, & Kip Sabian

Penta and Kip start the match. They show off with poses before Kip decks Penta. All 6 men get into the ring for a brawl. Eddie fights Butcher in the ring while others fight on the floor. Blade comes in and they double team on Eddie to take him down. Penta fights back against the tag team. He avoids a corner splash from Butcher and drops Blade on him. Sabian pulls Penta’s groin into the ring post. Cassidy hits a suicide dive on Sabian. Sabian sends Cassidy to the floor with a back body drop. Sabian distracts the referee while The Butcher and The Blade drop Cassidy with a double team slam. Cassidy and Sabian block each other before Butcher hits a cheat kick to his back. We cut to a break with The Blade coming into the ring.

Cassidy is trying to fight out a bear hug from The Blade. Sabian and the Butcher knock others from the apron. Sabian hits a springboard doublestomp to get pinfall. Cassidy fights back and tags in Penta. Penta hits slingblades on Butcher & Blade, a superkick and a destroyer on Sabian. Eddie tags in against Butcher and they start no-selling clotheslines. Eddie manages to send Butcher to the corner for machine gun chops. He does the same to Blade. Cassidy nails Orange Punch on Butcher and The Blade. Eddie sends Butcher to the floor. Sabian tries to counter but Cassidy and Eddie double team with quick blows to get the pinfall.

Winners – Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, & Penta El Zero Meido

After the break, Best Friends are also in the ring. They cut a short promo saying they are not coming to hugging in Stadium Stampede match, and they will do it for Trent’s mom Su. Eddie takes the mic but Cassidy snatches it from him. Blackpool Combat Club, Santana & Ortiz appear on the big screen to send a message to their opposite team. Eddie leaves the ring to chase them down while they continue tells Moxley, Santana & Ortiz to not be in his match.

Dark Order(John Silver & Alex Reynolds) vs Darius Martin & Action Andretti

Silver and Andretti start the match with some back and forth. Reynolds tags in after Silver backs Andretti in the corner. Andretti lands on his feet on a German suplex and tags in Martin for a some quick double team action. Silver hits a suplex on Andretti to drop him on Reynolds’ knees. Dark Order with some double team work on Andretti now. We cut to a break.

Andretti hits back at Silver but Reynolds cuts off his tag. He lands on his feet again on a German suplex and tags in Martin. Martin unloads with quick shots on Silver. He counters a double suplex before a kick on Reynolds to get a two-count. Reynolds hits Silver with a handspring kick before a brainsbuster from Martin on Reynolds, and a 450 splash from Andretti. Silver breaks the pinfall. He nails superkicks on Andretti and Martin. Dark Order hit double team moves on Andretti, finishing with a German suplex and jacknife pin to get the pinfall.

Winners – Dark Order

AR Fox interrupts Darby Allin and Nick Wayne’s interview to apologize to Wayne and Allin. He puts his hands forward for a handshake but Wayne leaves it hanging and leaves. Darby shakes Fox’s hand before leaving.


We see the latest rap from The Acclaimed.

Big Bill vs Vary Morales

Quick shots from Morales. Big Bill drops him with a clothesline. He slam his opponent to the mat before a corner splash and chokeslam to get the pinfall.

Winner – Big Bill

After the match, Ricky Starks says Morales reminds him of a young Steamboat. So, he wants to show what he did to Steamboat. He whips Morales with belt before a couple of referees stop him.


Backstage, Ruby Soho challenges Kris Statlander for AEW TBS Women’s title at All Out.

Robyn Renegade vs Willow Nightingale

Robyn goes for a German suplex but Willow breaks the waistlock before slamming Robyn to the mat. Robyn fires some shots in the corner before Willow takes over control. Willow hits a three amigos and bridges the third suplex to get a two-count. Robyn slips to the floor. Willow takes out Charlotte with a kick when she was going for Robyn. Robyn trips Willow on the apron and we cut to a break.

Willow ducks a clothesline and hits some of her own. She hits a back splash in the corner before a big boot. She hits a spinebuster to get a near fall. Robyn fails to get her down with a sunset flip. She avoids a cannonball in the corner and hits a missile dropkick to get a near fall. She kicks Willow off the apron next. Willow drives Robyn into the apron. Robyn blocks a suplex but Willow hits a double suplex when Charlotte gets involved. Willow hits a gutwrench powerbomb finisher to get the pinfall.

Winner – Willow Nightingale

We see AEW stars on talk shows in London, and Jericho’s Fozzy having a concert.

Keith Lee vs Zicky Dice

Keith Lee squashes Zicky in his Collision debut.

Winner – Keith Lee

We see how Perro Pelligrasso and Dralistico fought off their kidnappers where they were abducted. Rush comes in clapping for them.


Samoa Joe comes out and tells us that he is told by AEW that his match at All In will be canceled if he interferes in CM Punk’s match. So, he will just provide his services as an expert commentator. He is a man who is satisfied as he has gotten what he needs last week, a match against Punk. We see a brief video package for Punk vs Joe match.

CM Punk, Darby Allin, Sting & Hook vs Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage, Jay White & Luchasaurus

Swerve starts against Punk. Punk counters a side headlock into a hammerlock. Swerve backs Punk into the corner and hits a back elbow. Swerve hits a tijeras before mocking him. Punk catches him midair but Swerve slips out of GTS. White tags in and the crowd gets excited. White asks Sting to come in, but attacks Punk when he goes to tag Sting. White hits chops before Punk counters a suplex.

Hook tags in and unloads on White. White hits a knee to midsection. Hook gets him in an arm wringer. Darby tags in to continue to the work on the arm. White breaks free and tags in Luchasaurus who throws Darby into the corner. Sting gets a blind tag off Darby and sends Luchasaurus to the corner for stinger splashes in the corner. Punk tags in and unloads on Luchasaurus. Christian pulls Punk’s leg to allow Luchasaurus to hit him with a big boot. We cut to a break.

Quick tags from heel team as they keep Punk under control. Swerve hits a vertical suplex after stopping a comeback attempt. Punk avoids a double stomp from the top. He kicks Swerve away and tags in Hook. Hook hits hiptosses on Swerve before a T-Bone suplex. White takes a cheap shot at him. Swerve pushes him to the floor before others throws him into the barricade. Hook is now kept down with quick tags. We cut to a break.

Cage does some bicep curls with Hook as we return. Hook comes back with a suplex. Cage blocks a tag and knocks Sting and Darby off the apron. Hook hits another suplex to counter him. Punk gets the hot tag and unloads with punches on Swerve and White. He hits a leg lariat on White, and a suplex on Swerve, before high knees on both men. He kicks Luchasaurus off the apron before a body slam on White. He hits an elbow drop.

Swerve avoids GTS and hits a flatliner. Hook hits a T-Bone suplex on Swerve. Luchasaurus hits a chokeslam on Hook. Sting drops Luchasaurus. White takes a shot at Sting from behind. Darby decks White. Cage hits Death Valley Driver on Darby. Punk hits GTS on Cage. Punk puts on Coquina clutch on Cage to get the submission.

Winners – CM Punk, Darby Allin, Sting & Hook

After the match, Joe attacks Punk. Jack Perry comes out to brawl with Hook. Swerve and Cage fight Sting and Darby. Luchasaurus also get involved. The show goes off the air with everyone fighting everyone.
