AEW Collision August 19: Darby v Christian, Willow vs Diamante Set
AEW has announced two matches for AEW Collision August 19’s Fight for the Fallen 2023 special episode.
Darby Allin is set to face TNT Champion Luchasaurus at AEW All Out 2023 PPV. Luchasaurus attacked Darby on Rampage this week. Darby returned the favor by attacking Luchasaurus after his successful title defense against Brock Anderson on Collision this week(August 12).
After the match, he challenged Christian Cage for a singles match on August 19 Collision. Christian was trash-talking Darby earlier in his promo. He ended up accepting the challenge and the match was later made official.

Diamante provided leverage to her tag team partner Mercedes Martinez as they defeated Willow Nightingale and AEW TBS Women’s Champion Kris Statlander. Willow was the one pinned during the match. She will have a chance to get revenge on Diamante next week in a singles match.
Additionally, Ricky Starks will continue to appear on Collision despite being suspended from wrestling for a month after his attack on Ricky Steamboat. Starks revealed that he has a manager’s license that allows him to appear despite his suspension from in-ring action.
AEW Collision episode on August 19, 2023, is set to be part of Fight for the Fallen 2023 special. The show will air from Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. Below is the current line-up for the show:
