WWE RAW Live Results & Updates- 4 May 2020

Charlotte Flair comes out to the ring. She says she is the hardest working woman in any industry as she is pulling double duty on RAW and NXT. She says she will be defending against Io Shirai this Wednesday night. Flair goes on about the match and says Shirai will have the privilege of bowing down to The Queen. The music interrupts and out comes Liv Morgan to the stage. Flair indicates she will not be taking the new Liv Morgan seriously.

Liv walks to the ring and continues taunting Flair, saying Morgan says she was not born with a silver spoon and did not have a daddy who will hand her the career. But she will be a champion one day. Flair says Liv doesn’t even know who she is, but Flair knows who she is. They have some more words and Flair says Liv, like Io, will also bow down to The Queen. Liv calls for a referee so we can see what happens.

Liv Morgan vs Charlotte Flair

Charlotte corners Morgan to start. Flair flips Morgan over as she charges. They start again after a stalemate. Charlotte with a headlock now. Flair hits a shoulder tackle and grounds Morgan. She goes to slam Morgan to the turnbuckle where Morgan turns it around. Flair avoids one attack but Morgan hits her with a dropkick. Flair grounds her again and stomps on her for a bit. Morgan fights back in the corner and hits a missile dropkick. Flair counters by slamming her in the corner as Morgan charges at her. She keeps kicking Morgan as we go to the break.

Charlotte decks her and puts her to the apron before hitting an elbow. Morgan uses the ropes to her advantage and tries to roll-up Charlotte but Charlotte stomps on Morgan to avoid it. Morgan with a headbutt. She goes for the headscissor but Flair catches her and slams her to the mat. Flair hits a few chops in the corner. The referee talks to Flair which gives Morgan a chance to deck her. Flair catches her again as she jumps from the top and puts her in the Boston Crab.

Morgan reaches the ropes to break the hold. Flair goes to the top for Spanish fly but Morgan counters by hitting double knees. Morgan goes for the oblivion but Flair avoids it and puts her in figure four. She bridges it to figure eight and gets the submission win.

Drew McIntyre vs Murphy

Drew McIntyre for tonight’s non-title main event. Murphy is out next, accompanied by Seth Rollins. Rollins stops at the stage and nods for Murphy to continue to the ring as McIntyre looks on.

McIntyre shoves Murphy out of the ring as the match starts. Murphy comes back to the ring and McIntyre continues to dominate. He hits a shoulder tackle which forces Murphy to move out of the ring. Murphy is at the ramp as Rollins watches on. McIntyre follows Murphy and boots him to the floor. He then rams him into the barricade and then continue to thrash him around the ring.

McIntyre throws him back to the ring and Murphy catches him with a basement drop kick on his way in. Murphy now rams McIntyre into the barricade ringside. Back in the ring, Murphy hits the double knee from the top. McIntyre suddenly starts no-selling Murphy’s strikes. He replies with strikes now and hits the Glasgow kiss to get a two-count. Murphy with a big boot in the corner as McIntyre charges. An enziguiri follows from the apron.

At the ringside, McIntyre hits few chops and rams Murphy into the barricade. A big right hand from the top from McIntyre. He hoists Murphy on his shoulder and climbs to the middle turnbuckle. He goes for the avalanche slam but Murphy slips out and hits a powerbomb to get a near fall. Murphy waits for him to get up and mocks McIntyre with the call for 1, 2, 3. McIntyre catches him with the Claymore kick to get the pin.

Winner- Drew McIntyre

Seth Rollins approaches the ring after the match. McIntyre waits for him to come in but Rollins stops at the steel steps. Rollins returns to the ramp and looking like heading to the back. McIntyre keeps shouting at him and asks him to come in as his music hits. McIntyre starts posing in the ring with his belt when Rollins catches him with a superkick out of nowhere. Rollins shouts at McIntyre that this is bigger than him. Rollins gets ready for the stomp but McIntyre grabs him and slams him to the floor. McIntyre goes for the Claymore but Rollins slips out of the ring. The show goes off the air.
