UFC 295: Nurullo Aliev Out, Mateusz Rebecki Faces Roosevelt Roberts

Roosevelt Roberts has come in to replace Nurullo Aliev to face Mateusz Rebecki at UFC 295 PPV event.

The change was revealed by IridiumSportsAgency who posted on social media that Roosevelt Roberts is back with UFC and will face Mateusz Rebecki.

Earlier, it was stated that Nurullo Aliev was unable to participate at UFC 295 event against Rebecki because of a leg injury. The exact details of the injury have not been disclosed yet.

Roosevelt Roberts’s most recent fight was in The Ultimate Fighter 31 season, where Austin Hubbard defeated him via a split decision. Prior to that, his last UFC bout occurred in 2021, and he suffered a defeat by knockout at the hands of Ignacio Bahamondes. Roberts is now making a return to UFC after a two-year absence.

Mateusz Rebecki made his appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series last year, which ultimately led to his UFC debut earlier this year. In his first UFC match, he secured a victory against Nick Fiore. Rebecki followed up with another impressive performance, achieving a second-round TKO win in his most recent bout against Loik Radzhabov.

UFC 295 event is scheduled to occur on November 11, 2023, at Madison Square Garden in New York, United States. A lightweight bout is also set for the event, where Nazim Sadykhov will face Viacheslav Borshchev.
