UFC Sao Paulo Weigh-in Results: 3 Weight Misses, 2 Fight Canceled

UFC Sao Paulo weigh-in event led to two fights being cancelled and 3 weight misses in total.

Both Ismail Bonfim and his opponent Vinc Pichel missed weight for their lightweight bout. Pichel came in 1 lbs heavier at 157 lbs, but was able to make weight in his second attempt at 155.5 lbs. Bonfim came in at 159.5 lbs, 3.5 lbs heavier than the weight limit. The bout was subsequently canceled.

Eduarda Moura also missed weight by 3.5 lbs for her strawweight bout against Montserrat Ruiz. However, her fight is salvaged as it is now turned into a catchweight bout. Moura has to pay 30% of her purse as a fine to Ruiz. Victor Hugo was not so lucky as his fight against Daniel Marcos was canceled he missed weight for the bantamweight bout by 2.5 lbs.

Lucas Almeida was at 236 lbs, well under the heavyweight limit, for his main event bout. Derrick Lewis also made weight at 265 lbs to make the main event bout official. Tune in below for complete weigh-in results.
