Two top strikers from the featherweight division saw Josh Emmett and Ilja Topuria clash in the main event. Topuria looked to continue with his unbeaten run and looked to get his sixth win in this bout. Emmett looked to return to winning ways and bid for another title shot.

3 debutants in Joshua Van, Austen Lane and Jose Marsical were set to appear in UFC for the first time. The co-main event saw Maycee Barber and Amanda Ribas in a women’s flyweight bout. Justin Tafa was promoted to main card to take on debutant Austen Lane. Brendan Allen opened the main card against Bruno Silva.
