Tresean Gore Out of UFC 290, Bo Nickal Seeking New Opponent
Tresean Gore has pulled out of his fight against Bo Nickal at UFC 290 PPV event this week due to an injury.
Nickal and Gore were supposed to clash in a middleweight bout on the main card of UFC 290. The news is revealed by MMA Reporter Ariel Helwani who reported on Gore’s injury, which led his out of the event on July 8.
Helwani also added that Nickal is seeking a new opponent and that UFC might finalize the new opponent by today.

UFC is working on keeping Nickal on the card, I’m told. Hoping to finalize a new bout today.
Former freestyle wrestler Bo Nickal was supposed to take part in his second UFC bout at UFC 290. After a couple of bouts in Dana White Contender Series 2022, Nickal made his UFC debut at UFC 285 where he beat Jamie Pickett.
Gore was coming off his first win in UFC against Josh Fremd at a Fight Night event in October last year. Prior to that, he lost to Bryan Battle and Cody Brundage in 2022 itself.
UFC 290 is set to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, as part of International Fight Week. A pair of title fights headlines the event. Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez clash in a featherwieght title unification bout.
