Tai Tuivasa and Marcin Tybura are set to clash at UFC 298 PPV event.

UFC AUSNZ revealed on Twitter that Tai Tuivasa and Marcin Tybura are geared up for a heavyweight showdown scheduled for UFC’s event on February 17, 2024.

Tai Tuivasa has been experiencing a three-fight losing streak. In his most recent match at UFC 293, he was defeated by Alexander Volkov via submission. Before the Volkov fight, Tuivasa suffered a knockout loss against Sergei Pavlovich. His UFC record is currently marked at 8 wins and 6 losses.

Marcin Tybura’s most recent fight was at UFC London event, where he suffered a knockout defeat against Tom Aspinall. This loss marked the conclusion of Tybura’s two-fight winning streak. Prior to the Aspinall fight, Tybura secured a victory over Blagoy Ivanov via unanimous decision. At that time, his UFC record stood at 11 wins and 7 losses.

Tai Tuivasa holds the #9 ranking in the heavyweight division, while Marcin Tybura occupies the #10 spot in the same weight class.

UFC 298 is set to take place on February 17, 2024, at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. A bantamweight bout is also set for the event, where Merab Dvalishvili will face Henry Cejudo.
