Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo are set to clash at UFC 298 PPV event.

Henry Cejudo has disclosed on his YouTube channel that he is scheduled to face Merab Dvalishvili in a bantamweight bout at UFC event scheduled for February 17, 2024.

Henry Cejudo is returning to action following his recovery from a shoulder injury. He is ranked at #3 in UFC’s bantamweight rankings. Dvalishvilli is ranked at #2.

Merab Dvalishvili has been on a winning streak, securing victories in his last two fights. At UFC Las Vegas event, he triumphed over Petr Yan via unanimous decision. Before that bout, Dvalishvili also claimed a unanimous decision victory against José Aldo at UFC 278 event. As it stands, his UFC record stands at 9 wins and 2 losses.

Henry Cejudo was set to compete against Marlon Vera at UFC 292 event, but the fight was called off because Cejudo suffered a shoulder injury. Before this canceled bout, Cejudo faced a defeat at UFC 288 event, competing against Aljamain Sterling for UFC bantamweight championship. He lost via a split decision, marking the conclusion of his remarkable six-fight winning streak.

UFC 298 is set to take place on February 17, 2024, at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. A middleweight bout is also set for the event, where Anthony Hernandez will face Ikram Aliskerov.
