UFC 296 Commentary Team: Anik-Rogan-Cormier Trio Return

The commentary lineup for UFC 296 PPV has been finalized, confirming Joe Rogan as part of the main PPV broadcasting team, bringing the event to a close in 2023.

MMA Junkie revealed the line-up of commentators and other members of the broadcast team for the UFC 296 PPV.

Dan Hellie is set to host the official UFC 296 weigh-in show, joined by Laura Sanko, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier. Sanko was present at UFC Vegas 83 event as a commentator. Megan Olivi, a seasoned UFC correspondent, will handle pre- and post-fight interviews backstage with athletes and provide real-time event updates.

The iconic octagon announcer, Bruce Buffer, known as one of the most renowned in history, will return to introduce the fighters before their battles. Buffer was also the part of UFC Vegas 83 event. Jon Anik will take the helm as the primary cageside commentator, providing play-by-play alongside color commentators, former two-division champion Cormier, and Joe Rogan.

In addition, Din Thomas will intermittently join the commentary booth during the broadcast, contributing as the coach-analyst for the event. The desk analysts for UFC 296 have not been officially announced.

UFC 296 event is set for December 16, 2023, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, featuring UFC Welterweight Championship bout between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington.
