UFC March 23: Cornolle Out, Dariya Zheleznyakova To Debut vs Rendon
Dariya Zheleznyakova is scheduled to have her first UFC bout against Montserrat Rendon on March 23, 2024, filling in for Nora Cornolle who withdrew from the fight.
As reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes, Nora Cornolle will not be able to compete in her scheduled bout against Rendon due to medical reasons. Zheleznyakova has been named as her replacement for the fight.

Dariya Zheleznyakova was set for her UFC debut at UFC Vegas 81 against Tainara Lisboa, but she had to pull out due to an injury. Before the canceled bout, Zheleznyakova secured a victory against Marie Loiseau at Ares FC 14. Zheleznyakova holds a professional MMA record of 8 wins and 1 loss.
Montserrat Rendon is currently on an impressive six-fight winning streak. Her most recent triumph took place at UFC Vegas 79 event, where she claimed a split-decision victory against Tamires Vidal in her UFC debut. Prior to her bout with Vidal, Rendon achieved a win over Brittney Cloudy at Invicta FC 49 event.
UFC event scheduled for March 23, 2024, has not disclosed its location. Additionally, the bout featuring Dariya Zheleznyakova against Montserrat Rendon is the first fight announced for this event.
