Sedriques Dumas vs Abu Azaitar Reported for UFC 294 on Oct 21
A new middleweight bout is set between Sedriques Dumas and Abu Azaitar for UFC 294 PPV event.
According to Alex Behunin of MMA Mania, Dumas, and Azaitar are set to clash in a Middleweight bout at the UFC’s October 21 event in Abu Dhabi.

Sedriques Dumas has fought only two matches in the UFC, which resulted in one win and one loss. Dumas’s recent bout was against Cody Brundage at UFC on ABC 5 event, where he won by unanimous decision. Dumas lost his eight-fight winning streak against Josh Fremd at UFC Fight Night 221 event.
If this bout takes place, Azaitar will return to the octagon after a gap of 30 months years. His last bout was when he lost to Marc-André Barriault at UFC 260 in March 2021. This loss ended his nine-fight winning streak.
In fact, this is just the third UFC bout for Azaitar who debuted with the promotions in July 2018 with a win over Vitor Miranda. During this time, three of his bout were canceled due to his injuries. Abu Azaitar was previously set to face Sedriques Dumas at UFC Las Vegas Fight Night event in March this year, but that bout was also canceled due to Azaitar’s injury.
UFC 294 is set for October 21, 2023, in Abu Dhabi, featuring a lightweight title bout between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira. Magomed Ankalaev vs Johnny Walker bout is also reported for main card of the event.
