Rose Namajunas Suffered Fractured Finger in UFC Paris Loss

Rose Namajunas sustained an injury during her flyweight debut at UFC Paris event.

During the co-main event of the UFC Paris event, the former two-time strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas, faced a unanimous decision loss against Manon Fiorot.

After the event, Namajunas’ manager, Brian Butler of SuckerPunch Entertainment, confirmed on various social media platforms that Namajunas had fractured her hand during the opening round. 

Furthermore, MMA Reporter Ariel Helwani shared a photo sent by Namajunas’ coach Pat Barry, which describes a more severe view of the injury.

Following her defeat at the UFC Paris event against Fiorot, Namajunas is currently on a three-fight losing streak. Before Fiorot, Namajunas got defeated by Gillian Robertson at Grappling in the Fury Pro Grappling 6 event.

Before Robertson, Namajunas was also defeated by Carla Esparza at the UFC 274 event where she lost by a split decision to lose UFC Strawweight Championship.

Namajuna’s loss to Esparza also marked the end of her three-fight winning streak which included a couple of wins over Zhang Weili after beating Jessica Andrade. Namajunas UFC record stands at 9-5-0.
