Ciryl Gane headlined the second event in Paris in a row as he tried to bounce back from a loss to Jon Jones. He was facing a tough challenge in #7 ranked heavyweight Serghei Spivac. Spivac came into the bout on the back of 3 big wins with Derrick Lewis being his latest victim.

Rose Namajunas returned to the action after 15 months. She moved up to flyweight division as she faced Minon Fiorat. Fiorat was unbeaten in UFC so far and was looking to secure a title shot with a win over Namajunas.
