Sean Brady has faced two bout cancellations recently. His initial bout against Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 290 was canceled due to an infection Brady had. His second scheduled fight at UFC on ESPN 43 against Michel Pereira also got canceled due to Brady sustaining an injury.
Before his canceled bouts, Sean Brady suffered a TKO defeat to Belal Muhammad at UFC 280. As of now, he holds 9th spot in UFC Rankings in the welterweight division.
Kelvin Gastelum’s recent fight at Noche UFC against Shavkat Rakhmonov was canceled due to Gastelum’s facial fracture. Prior to this canceled bout, Gastelum secured a unanimous decision victory over Chris Curtis at UFC 287.
Gastelum is returning to the welterweight division with this bout after fighting in the middleweight division since 2016.
UFC Fight Night 233 event is set to take place on December 2, 2023, but as of now, neither the venue nor the location has been decided. A bantamweight bout is also set for the event where Rob Font will face Deiveson Figueiredo.
