Deiveson Figueiredo’s bantamweight move is finally coming as he is reportedly set to face Rob Font at UFC Fight Night 233 event.
The report comes from Mike Heck who has reported that Font and Figueiredo will clash in a bantamweight bout on UFC’s December 2 event.

Deiveson Figueiredo is a 2-time UFC Flyweight Champion. He lost the title for the second time to Brandon Moreno at UFC 283 PPV for the second time in their fourth clash. After the bout, he expressed a desire to move up to the bantamweight division.
However, Figueiredo was then booked to face Manel Kape at UFC 290 in another flyweight bout. But, the fight was canceled due to Figueiredo’s injury. He will finally be getting his desire to move up the division with a bantamweight bout against Font, who is ranked at #7 in the bantamweight rankings.
Rob Font’s recent fight at UFC 292, where he was supposed to face Yadong Song, was canceled due to Song’s withdrawal from the bout. Before this canceled fight, Font faced Cory Sandhagen at UFC ESPN on 50, and he suffered a defeat via unanimous decision.
UFC Fight Night 233 event is set to take place on December 2, 2023, but as of now, neither the venue nor the location has been decided. A middleweight bout is also reported for the event where Jared Cannonier will face Roman Dolidze.
