Miranda Maverick Reveals Fight Against Andrea Lee at UFC 298
A women’s flyweight bout is being revealed for UFC 298 event on February 2024.
Miranda Maverick and Andrea Lee are expected to clash in a flyweight bout. Maverick revealed on her Instagram Story that her fight against Lee is “happening now”.
Later, MMA Reporter Marcel Dorff tweeted that the bout will take place at UFC 298 event.

Maverick defeated Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 291 in her last bout after a loss to Jasmine Jasudavicius.

Maverick is 5-3 overall in UFC and 3-1 since the start of 2022. This will be her third straight PPV event fight. She defeated Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 291 in her last bout via submission in the second round. Prior to that, she lost to Jasmine Jasudavicius via unanimous decision at UFC 289.
Lee is on a 3-fight losing streak, but she still holds #14 position in UFC’s women’s flyweight rankings. She lost to Viviane Araujo at a Fight Night event in May 2022 before losses to Maycee Barber at UFC San Antonio in March 2023, and Natália Silva at UFC 292 PPV. Will she be able to bounce back from this loss?
UFC 298 event is to take place at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, on February 17, 2024. Brendson Ribeiro vs Zhang Mingyang is also reported for the event.
