A bout between Tagir Ulanbekov and Cody Durden is scheduled for UFC 296 event in December.

Cody Durden confirmed on his Instagram post that he will face Ulanbekov in what is expected to be a flyweight bout at the UFC event on December 16.

Tagir Ulanbekov has participated in four UFC matches, securing three wins and experiencing one loss. Unfortunately, his recent bout against Jake Hadley at UFC on ESPN 50/UFC Nashville event was canceled due to Ulanbekov not being medically cleared.

Prior to his canceled bout, Ulanbekov got a submission victory over Nate Maness at UFC Vegas 64. His upcoming fight will mark his first appearance in 2023.

Cody Durden is currently on a four-fight winning streak. He was supposed to fight Bruno Silva at UFC Vegas 79, but was instead called in to face Jake Headley at UFC Nashville event where he got a unanimous decision win. The bout against Silva had to be cancelled since Durden was not medically cleared.

UFC 296 event is scheduled for December 16, 2023, and will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. A welterweight bout is also set for the event where Vicente Luque will face Ian Machado Garry.
