Azamat Murzakanov vs Khalil Rountree Jr Set for Dec 2 UFC Event
A new light heavyweight is reportedly added to the match card of the December 2 UFC event.
According to the latest reports, #12 ranked LHW Azamat Murzakanov is set to collide against #11 ranked Khalil Rountree Jr at the UFC Fight Night event on December 2, 2023.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN was the first one to reveal this matchup after confirming the reports from several sources.
Contender Series alum Azamat Murzakanov, who is now 3-0 in the UFC and ranked No. 12 at LHW, will face No. 11 Khalil Rountree on Dec. 2 per sources. Rountree on a four-fight win streak.

Azamat Murzakanov is undefeated in MMA so far. He won all three of his UFC matches and was also able to win two of them via knockouts. Murzakanov is coming off a unanimous decision win against Dustin Jacoby.
On the other hand, Khalil Rountree Jr is also in red-hot form. He is maintaining a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a first-round TKO win against Chris Daukaus in August 2023.
Now it will be interesting to see whose winning streak will be shattered at the UFC Fight Night event on December 2 later this year.
