Mohammed Usman vs Chris Barnett Announced for UFC Vegas 88
Mohammed Usman and Chris Barnett are set to clash at UFC Vegas 88 event.
Mohammed Usman announced on Instagram that he and Barnett are set for a heavyweight showdown scheduled to occur at a UFC event on March 23, 2024.
Mohammed Usman is presently on a three-fight winning streak. In his latest appearance at UFC Vegas 79 event, he emerged victorious against Jake Collier through a unanimous decision. Preceding this matchup, Usman secured another unanimous decision triumph over Junior Tafa at the UFC Vegas 71 event.
Usman made his UFC debut at UFC Vegas 59 in August 2022 in the final of The Ultimate Fighter 30 beating Zac Pauga.
Chris Barnett’s most recent match, scheduled for UFC 287 against Chase Sherman, was called off when Barnett decided to withdraw from the fight. Before this cancellation bout, Barnett secured a victory by knocking out Jake Collier at UFC 279 event.
UFC Vegas 88 event is set to take place on March 23, 2024, broadcasting live from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. A lightweight bout is also set for the event, where Kurt Holobaugh will face Trey Ogden.
