The upcoming bout between Kape and Nicolau will be a rematch. In a previous meeting at the UFC 2021 event, Nicolau emerged victorious over Kape by a split decision. Previously, Kape has announced on Twitter that he will be participating in the UFC Vegas 83 event, which he considered his last fight before getting a title shot.
