Magomed Ankalaev vs Johnny Walker To Main Event UFC Vegas 83
A light heavyweight fight has been reported as the main event for UFC Vegas 83 event.
John Kavanagh revealed on The MMA Hour that Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev will headline UFC’s event scheduled for January 13, 2024, in a light heavyweight bout.
The upcoming fight between Ankalaev and Walker will be a rematch. The two fighters recently squared off at UFC 294 event, but the bout was declared a no-contest after an inadvertent knee strike caused Walker a concussion.

His most recent victory occurred at UFC 277 event, where he secured a knockout win against Anthony Smith.
Ankalaev’s UFC record stands at 9 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, and 1 no-contest. As of now, he holds the second rank in the light heavyweight division.
Johnny Walker is presently on a three-fight winning streak. His most recent victory was at UFC on ABC 4 event, where he defeated Anthony Smith. Prior to that, Walker secured a win against Paul Craig at UFC 283 event. As of now, Johnny Walker holds the seventh rank in the light heavyweight division.
UFC Vegas 83 event is set to take place on January 13, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. A flyweight bout is also set for the event, where Matheus Nicolau will face Manel Kape.
