UFC Vegas 82: Cesar Almeida Out, Denis Tiuliulin Faces Duncan
Denis Tiuliulin has come in to replace Cesar Almeida to face Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Vegas 82 event.
According to a report from VestnikMMA, Cesar Almeida will not be competing in his scheduled fight against Duncan, and Denis Tiuliulin will step in as a replacement in a middleweight bout. Almeida had to withdraw from the fight as he required emergency surgery due to an infection.
This was supposed to be Almeida’s UFC debut bout, but now he had to wait for it longer.

Denis Tiuliulin is currently experiencing a two-fight losing streak. His most recent bout was against Gregory Rodrigues at UFC 292 event, resulting in a loss via knockout. Prior to Rodrigues, Tiuliulin was defeated by Jun Yong Park. His UFC record currently stands at 1 win and 3 losses.
Christian Leroy Duncan’s most recent fight took place at UFC Vegas 75 event against Armen Petrosyan, resulting in a loss by unanimous decision. This defeat halted Duncan’s four-fight winning streak. His second UFC bout was against Duško Todorović at UFC 286, which he won successfully before the recent loss to Petrosyan.
UFC Vegas 82 event is scheduled for November 18, and it is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. A heavyweight bout is also set for the event, where Caio Machado will face Mick Parkin.
