UFC 295 Becomes 2nd Highest Grossing Event in MSG History
UFC 295 event secured the position as the second-highest-grossing event in the history of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to an official statement from UFC, UFC 295 generated a gate revenue of $12.4 million with 19,039 in attendance. These figures have made the event the second-highest-grossing event in Madison Square Garden’s history.
UFC has the top three highest-grossing events at MSG now. UFC 205 takes the top rank with a total gate revenue of $17.7 million, while UFC 285 secures the third position with $11.6 million in gate revenue.
UFC 295 event not only claimed the title of the second-highest-grossing event in Madison Square Garden but also secured its place as the fourth-highest-grossing event in UFC history.
The main event of UFC 295 featured Jiří Procházka and Alex Pereira competing for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Pereira emerged victorious by knocking out Procházka, earning the Performance of the Night accolade.
Tom Aspinall became the new interim heavyweight champion by knocking out Sergei Pavlovich in the first round.
