Another bout is being reported for the UFC Vegas 76 event in the form of the Macy Chiasson vs. Yana Santos bantamweight bout.
The report comes from MMA Junkie, whose source tell that the promotion is working to complete the deal for the fight on July 1, 2023, UFC event. Both women have competed in Invicta Fighting Championship women’s promotion in the early days of their careers.
Yana Santos has lost her two recent matches against Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. Yana made her debut in the Featherweight division against Cris Cyborg, where she lost by TKO’s decision. Yana is currently ranked #6 in UFC Women’s Bantamweight ranking with 4 wins and 4 losses in her UFC career so far.

Macy Chiasson, The Ultimate Fighter Season 28 winner, is also coming off a loss in her last bout. She fell to Irene Aldana at UFC 279 via third-round knockout. Since the start of 2021, she has competed just four times due to bouts cancellations or postponed against Aspen Ladd and Marion Reneau.
Macy is currently ranked at #8 in UFC Women’s Bantamweight division with 3 wins and 2 losses in her last 5 bouts. Her overall UFC record stands at 6-3.
The UFC Vegas 76 event is set to take place on July 1, 2023, at UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, NV. A middleweight bout between Sean Strickland and Abusupiyan Magomedov is scheduled to headline the event. Ivana Petrovic vs Luana Carolina and Jordan Leavitt vs Elves Brener are also scheduled for the event.
