Mackenzie Dern vs Angela Hill Moved from UFC Charlotte to Headline UFC Vegas 73
UFC Fight Night gets itself a new main event bout.
According to the latest reports, Mackenzie Dern vs Angela Hill, which was supposed to take place at UFC Charlotte this weekend, will now headline the UFC Vegas 73 event on May 20, 2023.
The change came after Irene Aldana was pulled from the headlining bout against Raquel Pennington as she is set to replace Julianna Pena against Amanda Nunes at UFC 289.
Mackenzie Dern is 1-2 in her last three UFC fights. She is coming off a majority decision loss against Yan Xiaonan last year in October. Her last win came against Tecia Torress at UFC 273.
On the other hand, Angela Hill is on a two-fight winning streak. She is coming off a unanimous decision win against Emily Ducote. Before that, she registered a win against Lupita Godinez.
Now, it will be interesting to see which one of these women will be able to take advantage of five rounds and register a win for herself on May 20.
