LFA returned with LFA 160 event live from Owensboro Sportscenter in Kentucky on June 16, 2023.

A bantamweight title fight headlined the event as John Sweeney and Allan Begosso battled over the vacant title. Sweeney headlined his second event his year after beating Ary Farias at LFA 150 via unanimous decision. Begosso returned to action for the first time since losing his bout in Dana White Contender Series 2022.

In the co-main event, Dylan Budka battled Azamat Bekoev in the bout for the interim middleweight title. Budka was 3 for 3 in LFA while Bekoev also won his LFA debut at LFA 152 this year.
