KSW 79: De Fries vs Duffee 2 Results Live, Fight Card, Time
Phil De Fries looked to continue his dominance as he headlined KSW 79 event with a rematch against Todd Duffee on February 25, 2023, at Home Credit Arena in Liberec, Czech Republic.
De Fries defended KSW World Heavyweight Championship for the eighth time. De Fries was in action twice in 2022 as he defeated Darko Stošić at KSW 67 and Ricardo Prasel at KSW 74.
Todd Duffee returned to the octagon for the first time since 2019 after getting through shoulder and knee surgeries. Duffee was last in action at UFC Fight Night in September 2019. That bout was also his first since his loss to Frank Mir in 2015.
Duffee actually defeated De Fries in their previous encounter at UFC 155 in December 2012. Was he able to repeat that performance and stop De Fries’ dominant run in KSW?
The co-main event was a middleweight bout between Dominik Humburger and Jorge Bueno. Two European veterans in Daniel Omielanczuk and Michal Kita also clashed on the undercard.
