Felipe Bunes is set to make his UFC debut at UFC Vegas 83 event as he takes on Denys Bondar.
The report regarding his flyweight bout comes from Marcel Dorff of Eurosports. UFC Vegas 83 is set to take place on January 13, 2024, at UFC’s Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Brazil’s Felipe Bunes is coming off two back-to-back wins in his appearances in LFA. He currently holds LFA Flyweight Championship which he won at LFA 149 by beating Yuma Horiuchi. His overall record stands at 13 wins and 6 losses. He was once at 10-2 in MMA, but then suffered 4 losses in 5 bouts.
Bunes was likely to debut earlier for the promotion but he was suspended for six months and issued a $326 fine by Nevada Athletic Commission due to testing positive for GW1516. He was eligible to return to action after December 7.
Denys Bondar is not in a good form heading into this bout. He has lost his last two bouts in UFC. He lost to Malcolm Gordon in UFC debut in February 2022 before losing to Carlos Hernandez at UFC Vegas 75. Will he be able to get his first UFC win here?
