Bellator vs Rizin 2 Results Live, Fight Card, Time
Bellator and Rizin present their second joint event – Bellator x Rizin 2 – on July 29, 2023, from Super Saitama Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
The event was headlined by a quarterfinal bout of the Lightweight Grand Prix between Patricky Freire and Roberto de Souza. De Souza was a late replacement for AJ McKee in the tournament. De Souza lost to McKee at Bellator x Rizin 1 event, and had since beaten Spike Carlyle. Patricky was coming off losing Bellator Lightweight title to Usman Nurmagomedov.
In the co-main event, Kyoji Horiguchi and Makoto Shinryu fought for the inaugural Bellator Flyweight title. 3 more bouts were also set for the show as Andrey Koreshkov took on Lorenz Larkin in a welterweight bout. Bellator’s Danny Sabatello faced Rizin’s Magomed Magomedov in a bantamweight bout. Kana Watanabe and Veta Arteaga clashed in a flyweight bout
