Rhys McKee’s Return to UFC Set for UFC Paris vs Ange Loosa

Rhys Mckee’s return to UFC is likely to come at UFC Paris event and his bout against Ange Loosa is said to be in work.

The news was first reported from Alex Behuin of MMA Mania. The bout is likely going to be a welterweight bout where both men have regularly fought.

Rhys Mckee was released by UFC in 2020 after consecutive losses against Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Morono. After that, he returned to Cage Warrior he won three fights in a row. Mckee’s recent fight was against Jim Wallhead, where he won the fight by corner Stoppage at Cage Warrior 153 event.

Ange Loosa has fought in two matches in UFC so far which resulted in one loss and one win. The win came against AJ Fletcher at UFC 278 event, and the loss came against Mounir Lazzez at UFC Fight Night event in April 2022. Loosa’s bout against Josh Quinlan at UFC Vegas 72 was canceled due to Quinlan’s withdrawal.

The UFC Paris event will air from Accor Arena in Paris, France, on September 2, 2023. Headlined by a heavyweight bout between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac, the event will also feature a lightweight bout between Benoit Saint Denis and Thiago Moises.
