Lucas Almeida vs Hakeem Dawodu & Aiemann Zahabi vs Aori Qileng Scheduled for UFC 289

Two new bouts have been added to the match card of the UFC 289 PPV event. 

According to the latest reports, Lucas Almeda vs Hakeem Dawodu featherweight bout and Aiemann Zahabi vs Aori Qileng bantamweight bouts have been added to the match card of UFC 289. 

Aaron Bronster, a reporter for TSN Sports revealed these matchups by sharing a tweet. The tweet also mentioned that UFC 289 is expected to take place in Vancouver. 

Per sources, Hakeem Dawodu vs. Lucas Almeida and Aiemann Zahabi vs. Aoriqileng are being targeted for UFC 289.

As I reported earlier, the card is expected to be held in Vancouver.

Hakeem Dawodu is coming off a decision loss against Julian Erosa at UFC 279. His last win came against Michael Trizano in February 2022. On the other hand, Lucas Almeida is also coming off a third-round TKO win against Michael Trizano in June 2022. 

Moreover, Aiemann Zahabi is enjoying a two-fight winning streak. He is coming off a win against Ricky Turcios. Before that, he defeated Drako Rodriguez via first-round TKO. Whereas, Aori Qileng is also on a two-fight winning streak. He last defeated Jay Perrin via unanimous decision at UFC 278. 

UFC is yet to officially announce these two bouts along with the location and venue of UFC 289.
