Gervonta Davis Wants to Fight Davin Haney Next
Gervonta Davis already has the next opponent for his next fight in his mind and it is none other than Davin Haney.
In an interview with Zeb Brooks Multimedia, Gervonta Davis’ trainer Calvin Ford revealed that Gervonta Davis wants to fight Davin Haney next for the undisputed WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO lightweight titles.
If this fight will not occur, then Davis is keeping Isaac Cruz rematch as an alternative for his next bout. But, he will push for the undisputed lightweight titles bout.

Gervonta Davis is coming off a win in one of the biggest matches of his career. He defeated Ryan Garcia via seventh-round KO in his most recent match in April this year. Davis is still undefeated and won 27 out of 29 bouts via knockouts.
On the other hand, Davin Haney is the current undisputed lightweight champion of the world. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Vasiliy Lomachenko in May 2023. Before that, he defeated George Kambosos Jr twice in consecutive matches.
Cruz and Davis clashed in December 2021 where Davis got an unanimous decision win. Cruz dominated that early part of that bout and it was just the second time in his career that Davis was not able finish off an opponent. Cruz came in as a replacement for Rolando Romero in that fight.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Gervonta Davis actually gets to face Davin Haney inside the squared circle or not.
