WWE RAW Live Results & Updates- 4 November 2019
We see a recap of Rusev-Lana-Lashley’s storyline. After the break, Rusev comes out to the ring. He says he wants to end all of this drama tonight. He says Lashley can have his soon to be ex-wife Lana, but only after he beats Lashley tonight. Lashley’s a** belongs to him tonight. Lashley’s music hits and he comes out on crutches. He tells us that he is not medically cleared for a match. He has apparently pulled his groin muscle. And that did not happen at Crown Jewel but after that… doing some things with Lana. Lana rants on Rusev for a bit and tells Rusev that someone in the backstage has agreed to face Rusev tonight. It’s Drew McIntyre.
Rusev vs Drew McIntyre
McIntyre starts with a headbutt and gets some punches going in the corner. Rusev explodes out of the corner with a clothesline and hits a series of shoulder blocks. He takes McIntyre to another corner and continues to beat him down. McIntyre turns it around with a big kick. The action is mostly in the corner with punches and kicks. Rusev comes back with some punches but McIntyre gets his boot up as he charges from the rope. Rusev hulks up and catches McIntyre for an overhead suplex.
McIntyre holding Rusev in a submission. Rusev powers out of it and hits a few punches and chops. McIntyre plants him with a spinebuster for two. Rusev makes a comeback with a spinning heel kick. He was going for the Machcka kick but McIntyre dodges it. Rusev gets some punches going before both of them collided in a crossbody in the middle of the ring. They get up and trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Rusev connects a superkick, sending McIntyre out of the ring. He slams McIntyre’s head into the steel post. Bobby Lashley hits Rusev from behind with his crutch.
Winner- Rusev(by disqualification)
Lashley slams Rusev into the steel steps before throwing him into the ring. Rusev gets the big punches going and corners him. Rusev’s eyes show the extreme rage that he is in. He grabs the crutch when out of nowhere…. RKO. Randy Orton continues to stomp on Rusev after this. I guess they are still carrying on with team Hogan vs team Flair dynamics as Ricochet now comes out to make the save. He clears the ring and hits Lashley with a dropkick that sends him into Lana.
Shanya Baszler Faces off with Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch sits down for an interview backstage with Kayla Braxton. Kayla Braxton asks Becky and actually announces the match between Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler vs Bayley. Becky says normally she’s out for retribution, but this year she’s the target because she put her opponents’ best friends(Ronda Rousey) on the injured reserve and off the roster. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler cuts off Braxton and tells her to get out as she wants to have a talk with Becky. She introduces herself and Becky looks amused. You would have loved Becky’s expressions here.
Shayna says she has been waiting a long time to meet Lynch face to face and yes, she is friends with Ronda Rousey, but she is not Ronda. At Survivor Series, she is not taking her eyes off Bayley, but champion to champion, she wanted to tell Lynch that she’s going to pin her or tap her out. Lynch tells her that she has not decided whether she respects Baszler yet, but she is glad they had this chance to talk so she could feel the same doubt Ronda did. Becky says she is coming directly for Shayna at Survivor Series, and they stand up. Baszler says she is glad to have met her and had this talk, and Lynch tells her to bring her best.
